Each match features three essential roles, each with unique abilities and gameplay styles.
In REVENGE, players infiltrate MARA’s corrupted zones, battling her forces to collect Sparks and Echoes before escaping. Matches unfold in three distinct phases, each demanding unique strategies.
Each Raider and a randomly paired Guide spawn at one of four entry points leading into MARA’s realm. They have two minutes to navigate to the arena’s center, collecting Sparks for upgrades and consumables before advancing.
Players spawn at the map’s center as Corruption spreads outward, erasing terrain and forcing them into MARA’s treacherous maze. Raiders must gather Sparks while surviving waves of enemies that grow deadlier over time.
To escape, players must collect enough Sparks and Archives to power a portal back to the Everreach. As it charges, Raiders must defend against relentless enemy waves until the portal fully opens, allowing their escape.
All the resources that MARA has stolen from the Everreach are held inside boxes called Archives that contain either Sparks or Echoes. They can be opened with guns, melee attacks, Guide electrical attacks, or grenades, each dealing varying amounts of damage.
Used to upgrade their weaponry or acquire ammo and healthpacks. Oracles can use them to unleash Game Changers. They are also the main way the match is scored after it ends.
Used outside the active match to unlock cosmetics like skins and emotes. There are four types of Echoes, each tied to specific unlockables, and three rarities (Bronze, Silver, Gold), making them highly desirable.
Inside the REVENGE arena, MARA makes the rules. While players are not defenseless in this strange world she has created, they need to be on their guard. There are many challenges to overcome or avoid.
Three enemy types lurk in the arena. Pawns swarm in packs, overwhelming players with sheer numbers. Knights are faster, stronger, and deadlier—when they roar, be ready. As the match progresses, MARA unleashes Elite Knights, her most dangerous forces.
These barriers block paths until deactivated. Guides can quickly override them, while Raiders must hack through with weapons. However, MARA’s monsters pass through unhindered, using them to trap players.
A relentless hazard that spreads, reshaping the arena. It slows movement, deals increasing damage, distorts visuals, and spawns tentacles to hinder progress. Players must adapt and avoid its growth.
Those watching the game via TWITCH can assume the role of Oracles.
Oracles can energize and unleash Game Changers – powerful abilities that change the course of a match.
Whether it’s spawning heathpacks and ammo drops, activating devastating airstrikes or temporarily slowing down the enemies (plus many other powerful effects) Oracles can help make every REVENGE match a unique and unpredictable experience.
Fast-paced and action-oriented, Raiders thrive in direct combat and exploration. Played in first-person, they navigate the arena with agility, taking down enemies in high-adrenaline firefights.
Strategic supporters who excel at coordination and tactics. Switching between first- and third-person views, they heal and buff Raiders, open pathways, mark targets, and call on Oracles for Game Changers.
Spectators who influence the match in real time via Twitch API, triggering Game Changers like enemy slows, safehouses, buffs, and AOE attacks. Their strategic timing earns XP, achievements, and in-game perks.
